Accessibility for Ontarians Policy and Plan Web Page Image

Convergint Technologies was founded in 2001 on a core set of Values and Beliefs that remain central to our organization today. One of those beliefs is the importance of creating a positive work environment, and that continues to drive our daily operations. The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) aims to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for people with disabilities. The AODA became law on June 13, 2005, and it applies to all levels of government, nonprofits, and private sector businesses in Ontario that have one or more employees (full-time, part-time, seasonal, or contract).

Convergint continues to grow its operations in Ontario and remains committed to its compliance with AODA requirements. To learn more about Convergint’s AODA Accessibility Policy, Accessibility Plan, and our Accessible Customer Service Policy, click on the appropriate box below.

Convergint strives to meet the needs of its colleagues and customers with disabilities and is working hard to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility. Our organization is committed to fulfilling our requirements under the AODA. This accessibility plan outlines the steps Convergint is taking to meet those requirements and to improve opportunities for people with disabilities. Our plan shows how Convergint will play its role in making Ontario an accessible province for all Ontarians. Our commitment to the AODA is reflected in our Accessibility Plan that can be downloaded below.

Convergint continues to comply with both the Ontario Human Rights Code and the AODA. Convergint is also committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities. Our accessible customer service policies are consistent with the principles of independence, dignity, integration, and equality of opportunity for people with disabilities.
